...Skills vs Likeness
Since my comeback to Art School I’ve found myself very much focused on how I paint, how I compose, how the light works, textures, anathomy... I noticed an overwhelming lack of technical skills and the necessity to improve it all.
Along with that, I started to read comics and looking at art not because I really enjoyed it but because it could be useful. Do you get the point? I devoted myself absolutely to the works that could be able to help me improve. Improving myself skills was all.
Is not that I finished this path, improving is a neverending path, we know that. But walking this way I left aside the things I really like to read, the kind of art I really enjoy looking at, and in the end, the kind of things that I really, absolutely, enjoy painting. Which is, as you may have guessed, bishies .
And I am not saying by any means that bishie-focused art isn’t good or isn’t good enough. What I mean is that balance is necessary, between what must be done to get better, and what needs to be done for being happy.
To state that I wanted to make this massive feature of amazing bishie art/artists that I’ve recently found. I wanted to make this massive feature to make that clear, and because of... hell, because I’m enjoying a lot!!

...Webcomics Remains, Too
Before my longlasting disappearance months ago, I was asking around about webcomics and best sites to upoad them. So many nice deviants did answer to my call and did their best for help me. I have not forget them I wanted to say thanks, thank you very much! My own webcomic is actually on it’s way and partly is thanks to them all.
