No sure why I came up with the idea of turn into color a penciled illustration I did a couple of years ago.

The original one depicted a normal couple, named Bruno and Lupe. Not magic in int. Despite of that, while doing the color it all turned a bit weird...
Bruno got that devilish smile and blackened eyes, and some runes appeared on the burning papers.
I got those runes from here [link] , were the rune on top is said to be somehow a "dream" protection.
This explains the title as well, as it is being burned up.
I leave on you the interpretation of the whole scene, but for me, It feels like Lupe taking a free ride on nightmares
Maybe that devilish Bruno worths it.

Nice work I like the contrast a lot gives a lot to this atmosphere and the expressions are also fantastic )
